NORTH CAROLINA CONCEAL CARRY INSTRUCTOR TRAINING
I get calls daily on how to become a NC Conceal Carry Instructor. Herein is what it takes. You must be a certified firearms instructor, either a Law Enforcement Firearm Instructor, a PPSB Firearm Instructor or an NRA Pistol Instructor. For the majority of you this means you will need to take the NRA route. This requires you take the NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting, ILT Class. Then you have to take the NRA 2 day Pistol Instructor Class. These classes in that order are required. Do not call me or email me asking if you really have to do these things or for an exemption because you don’t believe you need to take the NRA BOPS ILT Class. I will not respond. After that you then must attend the Use of Deadly Force Class put on by the NC DOJ.
