This is a 5 hour NRA course.  The instructor candidate must first complete the 4 hour student class, then they must complete the pre-course questionnaire and the pre-course assessment.  Only those instructor candidates who are successful in the pre-course assessment, and who meet other specified requirements for NRA instructors, are eligible for certification.  Instructor candidates must demonstrate basic safe handling and unloading procedures for each of the firearms specified.

This is a one day class. NRA Basic Instructor Training is not included with this class You must have already taken the NRA BIT class before taking this class.
