This private class is for females who do not know how to accurately and properly shoot a handgun.  This course is about 4 hours split between the classroom and the range. Students learn the difference between revolvers and semi-automatic pistols. Students learn the NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; pistol parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals and shooting from the two handed standing position. This is the class to take if your knowledge of pistols is none to limited. This is also the class to take if you want to take the NC Conceal Carry Class as it will prepare you for the Conceal Carry class, both in the classroom and in the shooting qualification test.

This class allows you to ask all of those questions you might be afraid to ask anyone else. I discuss what types of pistols might be appropriate for each student based on their needs, size and ability.

For this class I use Airsoft Pistols to start with as this helps me work with your shooting with a non-lethal gun that has no recoil or noise. We then advance to a .22 semi-automatic pistol.

I supply everything except eye protection for this class to include pistol and ammo.  If you have a handgun you want to shoot then you can bring it.   This is not an NRA class.
